Located in the heart of Downtown with easy access to Coal Harbour and the West End, there are countless destinations to visit and fill your time with during your extended stay. From grabbing a cup of coffee to stocking your pantry with fresh produce and essentials, our team has rounded up their top neighbourhood picks to help plan for your visit.

Grocery Store

With Urban Fare located a quick 4 minutes away and Whole Foods clocking in at an easy 9 minute walk, you’ll never have to worry about running out of the essentials. Shop local and fresh veggies, fruit, meat, florals, and more! Both locations include a bakery, as well as fresh bars to easily pick-up meals on the go.

Coffee

Whether you like your coffee first thing in the morning or as your go-to afternoon beverage, we’re lucky to be surrounded by some of the best cafes around. This includes international favourites like Starbucks, and also plenty of local destinations including Blenz Coffee (a Vancouver staple), Faubourg (don’t leave without one of their fresh pastries), and Thierry (one word: chocolate).

Restaurants

If you’re looking to dine out, you’re in luck! As more and more restaurants re-open, there are plenty of options when it comes to food. Here’s a quick breakdown of easy-to-walk-to restaurants: The Keg (steak), Joe Fortes (seafood), La Taqueria (tacos and margaritas), Cactus Club (for a little bit of everything!).

Entertainment

While the Vancouver Seawall and Stanley Park are classic destinations that are easy to fill your time with, recently the Vancouver Art Gallery has also reopened! Check out their latest exhibits including Shuvinai Ashoona: Mapping Worlds, which brings together a selection of drawings created by the acclaimed Inuk artist over the past two decades. Or, Rapture, Rhythm and The Tree of Life: Emily Carr and Her Female Contemporaries, which focuses on artwork from the first half of the twentieth century by women artists based in BC!
