Gastown: Known for its cobblestone streets, gas lamplights and steam clock, this neighbourhood is filled with delicious eateries, bars, and niche boutiques. Pick up your morning coffee at Timbertrain, spend your afternoon shopping at The Latest Scoop, then head to Alibi Room for beers (their specialty), drinks and fresh food.
West End: Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this neighbourhood gets you up close and personal with the ocean and beach. Easily spend an afternoon at English Bay, or wander into Stanley Park. Whether you’re in the mood for fish and chips, sushi, pizza or greek, you’ll find all this and more on Denman Street.
Yaletown: The perfect spot to visit for patio seating, this neighbourhood is home to some of the city’s most loved restaurants, including Homer Street Cafe and Blue Water Cafe. Favourite shopping destinations include Fine Finds (clothing, jewelry, gifts and more!) and The Cross Decor & Design (home decor, kitchenware, baby gifts, furniture… the list goes on). Don’t forget to visit the marina and seawall for incredible views, from Cambie Street Bridge to Granville Island.
Kitsilano: Over the Burrard Street bridge, you’ll find this neighbourhood known for its laid-back style. A visit to Kits Beach is a must, where there is something for everyone! Bring a beach towel, yoga mat, or volleyball, and don’t forget the SPF. Visit West 4th for shopping (Lululemon or Judith and Charles), eating (Fable Kitchen and Las Margaritas), exercise (Lagree West and YYOGA), or a day of pampering (Joyride and Fig Face).
