Breka Bakery Café

Open 24/7 and only a 5 minutes’ walk from our building, Breka is one of our favourite to suggest to guests. Along with bread loafs, pastries and cakes they also have great Paninis. Must try items: tiramisu and jelly doughnuts for sweets; turkey sandwich and pretzels (only on Fridays) for savory.

Ladurée

This Paris-based bakery arrived at Robson on March 2016, making it the first one in Canada. Since its opening, macaron lovers have visited to get a taste of Paris. Each macaron is $3 and with 20 different flavours, there are lots to choose from. Aside from world-famous macarons, they also sell perfume bottles, tea canisters, and scented candles.

Thierry Chocolaterie Patisserie Cafe

This award-wining chocolaterie and patiseerie offers handcrafted artisanal chocolates as well as other French pastries and desserts. The cafe provides shoppers direct view into Chef Thierry’s busy pastry kitchen as he is crafting his specialty chocolates.

Faubourg

While a little farther from the rest, this 11 min walk to Faubourg will help go towards burning the calories of their yummy treats. With an air of elegance, they specialize in traditional French breads, croissants, pastries and macarons. Fun Fact: they also offer macaroon classes!
