5 Spots to Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner in Vancouver

‘Tis the season for cooler weather, falling leaves, and of course, turkey! If you’re anything like us here at Vancouver Extended Stay, then you’ve probably been looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner since the moment the last one ended. Whether you’re visiting from out of town or are just looking for a place to eat the best meal of the year, we’ve rounded up five of our favourite spots to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner in Vancouver!

1. Vancouver Extended Stay

If you’re away from home and are someone who loves the satisfaction of cooking your own dinner, there’s no need to worry. At Vancouver Extended Stay, each of our apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, meaning you’ll have everything you need to cook up a delicious feast (minus the turkey, of course). So, invite your friends or coworkers over and enjoy Thanksgiving just like you would at home!

2. Carderos

Talk about dinner and a view! Situated in Coal Harbour overlooking the water, Carderos is one of our favourite spots for Thanksgiving dinner. Taking place October 13 and 14 at just $45 a head, they offer a delicious three-course menu that includes Butternut Squash Soup and an Oven Roasted Turkey. The dish we’re most excited about? The Pumpkin Cheesecake!

3. The Acorn

Not a meat-eater but still want to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner? Not to worry, The Acorn has just what you need. Known for their stylish vegetarian cuisine, The Acorn will be offering a three-course, turkey-free Thanksgiving dinner, with gluten free and vegan options available. While their menu details aren’t available yet, it’ll no doubt include some very delicious (and beautiful) food. Reservations can now be made for October 13 and 14.

What’s better than Thanksgiving dinner? Thanksgiving brunch AND dinner! To every foodies delight, Notch8 is hosting both this year, with brunch taking place October 13 (think: Gingersnap Waffles and Pumpkin Spiced Pancakes) and dinner happening October 13 and 14. We definitely recommend checking out both!
