Virtually Connect with Friends and Family

By now, none of us are strangers to virtual hangouts and calls, whether using FaceTime or Zoom. While it goes without saying, we are incredibly thankful for this power of technology that continues to connect us during a time we need it most. Although you may not be able to celebrate the long weekend with those you love in person, schedule a virtual call or hangout, and throw in some virtual games, too.

Enjoy The Fresh Air

If you have outdoor space or are staying in our 2 Bedroom Deluxe with a balcony, take your day outside! Bring a comfy chair or blanket, SPF, good music, and of course, snacks. While Vancouver’s weather is calling for some off and on rain, we are keeping our fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine.

Movie Night

After the sun sets, or in case of rain, it’s always helpful to have different activities to look forward to. Our suggestion: rewatching classic summer flicks! Some favourites include The Parent Trap, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and The Sandlot. Just don’t forget the popcorn!

Spring Clean

While this may not seem as enjoyable, the long weekend is the perfect time to complete this annual clean! Turn on some music, set the timer, and clear out one area of your home at a time. Before you know it, you’ll have a beautifully clean and organized home to enjoy for the rest of the summer!
